«Meeting point» reveals the intimate process of Alfredo and Paulina, two filmmakers trying to produce a film to reconstruct what their parents experienced in Villa Grimaldi, an emblematic torture center of the Pinochet dictatorship. Their parents forged a deep friendship by sharing a cell in that place, but only one survived, the other one is missing to this day.
The filmmakers involve their families in rehearsals and filming with the actors, revealing behind the scenes the consequences of this story in three generations: in the fathers and mothers who survived, in the contradictions of the filmmakers as children; and in the naive look of the little ones, who witness this family memory exercise, which reveals the nuances of an inheritance and the emotional traces of what happened.
