Open to documentaries in final editing stage, who wish to participate in the Showcase of Film in Work in Progress at Cannes Docs, as part of the prestigious March\u00e9 du Film.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chiledoc<\/strong>, the sectoral brand of the Chilean documentary, and Cannes Docs<\/strong>, the documentary area of March\u00e9 du Film, the most important audiovisual market in the world; invite Chilean producers and directors with documentaries in final editing stage<\/strong> to participate in the industry activity Showcase of Film in Work in Progress<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This activity, held at Cannes Docs and whose open call will be open until Thursday 13 May 2021, at 3pm<\/strong>, will consist of a 3 \u00bd minute pitch<\/strong>, on-site or recorded according to the conditions of participation- and the screening of a ten-minute fragment of the film<\/strong> to programmers, sales agents and relevant decision-makers from the global non-fiction industry, who meet at the March\u00e9 du Film, within the framework of the Cannes Film Festival.<\/p>\n

Cannes Docs<\/strong> is a space that has become one of the key meeting points for the international documentary industry in Cannes. In addition to activities linked to the documentary, Cannes Docs is the place where you will find the most important distributors, sales agents, festivals and decision-makers in the world.<\/p>\n

Application requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chilean producers and\/or directors may apply with a documentary in final editing stage. The required materials must be sent in just one file, PDF format, to this mail internacional@chiledoc.cl:<\/p>\n

– Link of the screener of the film with password, or a 25-minute fragment.
\n– Synopsis in Spanish and English.
\n– Cast & Crew and Technical Info in Spanish and English.
\n– International Distribution Plan.
\n– Estimated Date for Premiere.
\n– Motivation Letter to assist to March\u00e9 du Film.
\n– Five stills of the film in high quality.
\n– Main Contact.<\/p>\n

Launch of Open call: Thursday 29 April 2021

\nResults: Thursday 20 May 2021<\/p>\n

Selection Process<\/strong><\/p>\n

Up to 4 films in final stage will be selected. Projects with already closed or post-production cuts will not be eligible. The selection will be made by the team of the sector brand Chiledoc, considering the editorial lines of Cannes Docs and the possibilities that the project may have when attending this industry event, within the framework of March\u00e9 du Film.<\/p>\n

The results will be communicated via email to the selected and non-selected.<\/p>\n

Chiledoc undertakes not to publish or promote any image or fragment of the projects applying, if they are not previously authorized.<\/p>\n

The selection by this open call involves only the selection in the Showcase of Film in Work in Progress at Cannes Docs, by March\u00e9 du Film. The selection in this activity does not commit travel or accommodation costs for the selected projects in case this is performed physically.<\/p>\n

What is the sector brand Chiledoc?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The sector brand Chiledoc is a private public alliance between ProChile and the Chilean Documentary Corporation CCDoc, whose main mission is to promote Chilean documentary in the world.<\/p>\n
