Chilean cinema continues to expand its international presence, this time making a strong impact at the Guadalajara International Film Festival, which celebrates its 41st edition from April 17 to 25. On this occasion, Chile is the guest country of the \u201cContemporary Film Showcase\u201d,<\/strong> a key platform highlighting outstanding recent productions.<\/p>\n

Within this selection, four Chilean documentaries will be part of the program, sharing space with a range of fiction works and underscoring the diversity of the national film scene:<\/p>\n

\u25cf South of Winter, Lies the Snow<\/strong><\/em>, directed by Sebasti\u00e1n Vidal and produced by him alongside Sebasti\u00e1n Lavados.
\n\u25cf Black Cocaine<\/em><\/strong>, directed by Crist\u00f3bal Valenzuela and produced by Flor Rubina, Emiliano Mazza de Luca, and Adriana Gonz\u00e1lez.
\n\u25cf Lemebel<\/em><\/strong>, directed by Joanna Reposi and produced by Paula Saenz-Laguna.
\n\u25cf The Wind Knows I\u2019m Coming Back Home<\/em><\/strong>, directed by Jos\u00e9 Luis Torres Leiva and produced by Catalina Vergara.<\/p>\n

The presence of these titles not only reinforces the place of Chilean documentary within the international circuit, but also highlights the richness of authorial voices and thematic approaches that define the sector today.<\/p>\n
