The documentary directed by Marcia Tambutti, produced by Paola Castillo of Errante Producciones will be exhibited at the 20th edition of the Latin American and Spain Film Festival in New Zealand until November.
LASFFNZ is a cultural event dedicated to film productions from Latin America and Spain, aiming to bring together their communities through the free exhibition of films in different cities in New Zealand. The embassies of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Cuba, Spain, Mexico and Peru residing in Wellington participate in it.
Marcia, granddaughter of Salvador Allende, the first democratic socialist president who was overthrown by the Chilean dictatorship in September 1973, seeks to reconstruct the personal and family image of her grandfather buried by History, exile and the pain of her family. A sharp and close look, which tries to break the family silence sustained for decades.
