  • Efforts to promote the country’s image and position the Chilean documentary internationally continue; thus, Chiledoc will present at the 13th CCDF, CNEX Chinese Doc Forum, an important meeting with creative non-fiction and auteur films from Asia. This forum will be held from September 23 to 30, with activities in a hybrid format.

«CNEX Chinese Doc Forum (CCDF) is a key space to meet the potential and creativity of the Chinese independent documentary, to create links with Asia and meet important worldwide industry agents», mentions Paola Castillo, Chief Executive of Chiledoc.

Castillo will participate online as an industry agent in the Pitching Investing For Good, in which eight projects of young talent are looking to boost their social impact campaigns. She will also partake in the central Pitch of CCDF, where 18 projects from China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong will participate. Additionally, Paola will have a series of individual meetings with selected projects in the event seeking to establish links with our country and Latin America.

Chile’s participation in CNEX Chinese Doc Forum (CCDF) is organized by Chiledoc, the Chilean documentary sectorial brand, and financed by ProChile.

    Chiledoc: a collective force
Chiledoc is the brand that gathers the Chilean documentary sector under two principles that identify us: the associative nature of our community and the diversity of our productions.

Both qualities -community and diversity- are what we have defined as «The outlier way,» or an atypical way of doing things, where the emphasis is on balance achieved by the sum of regards acknowledged as different. This feature is also part of the country and our territory.

Chiledoc is a public-private alliance between the Chilean Documentary Corporation CCDoc and ProChile, subject to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
