Synopsis

From Chile, naturalists such as Charles Darwin, Marianne North, and Claudio Gay used the illustration to reveal never-before-seen species to the world. Today a new generation of illustrators explores the same territories, this time to recreate them on paper as ecosystems threatened by the human species. In an adventure that unites art and science, marsupials in deforested jungles or flamingos in lithium deposits will be illustrated to promote their conservation.
