After years of silence three adult women come together to reconstruct the memory of the sexual abuse they suffered in their childhood, perpetrated by relatives in their own homes. Through an intimate and poetic story, they will try to build the safe space that was taken from them so many years ago.
Director
She co-wrote the musical documentary «Pangea» (FICGuadalajara, 2019) and has worked in executive production on fiction and non-fiction projects, in Tres Tercios Producciones, Invercine & Wood and Fabula Productions. She is in charge of Audiovisual Production courses in Diego Portales University Film School. “The safest place” is her first film as a director.
Director
Milena has been involved in documentary filmmaking through the exploration of new narratives. Her short film “Julieta y la Luna” premiered and won at the Huesca International Film Festival in 2020. She is also a film editor, having worked on series for Disney+ and PBS Kids at animation studios like Zumbástico Studios (Chile), Pipeline Studios (Canada), and Pájaro (Chile).
Producer
Chilean documentary filmmaker and producer. Co-founder of Dos Be, she is one of the directors of the documentary «In the Shadow of Light» (2023), and producer of the project in development «The Safest Place». She is currently in the early stages of developing new feature-length projects co-directed with Isabel, such as «The Island That Waits for the Rain» and «The Day the Asphalt Arrives». She also works as a producer at Tres Tercios, where she specializes in non-fiction series, animation, and short films.

Her extensive experience in investigative journalism, screenwriting, and production has led her to create films that address issues related to socio-environmental conflicts and social relevance.
