Synopsis

Politicians promise according to our hopes and perform according to our fears. 36-year-old Gabriel Boric is the youngest president of Chile, and the most progressive since the fall of the Pinochet dictatorship. He doesn’t have the power to solve the problems of his country alone, but if his government installs hope, the Chilean people will find the courage to change their society by themselves. Our camera will follow over the course of one year for the German-French TV channel ARTE the process of political change in Chile.
