Synopsis

Mauricia, a poet and singer from central Chile, subjected to the violence and machismo of rural culture, seeks to reconcile her life through her songs. When Mauricia shares these songs of pain with other women, new changes take place. Together they give a voice to their silenced sufferings and connect with an inner strength that allows them to move forward with their lives, raise their children and regain their dignity.

Currently developing the feature documentary “I Do Not Sing for Singing” (2024).

– In May 2023, selected for the VII Salon of Producers and Film Projects FICCali 2023; in November 2023, the team was part of the industry event organized by SAPCINE in Cali, Colombia.
