The internationally renowned Chilean magician, Jean Paul Olhaberry, embarks on a journey in order to discover and draw the first Magical Map of Chile..Through a series of 8 thirty-minute episodes, we follow Jean Paul’s travel experience and connection with surprising traits of Chilean cultural identity through the search for magic rooted in nature and an invaluable ancestral world to be rediscovered.

Director & Producer
Gonzalo Vergara is a journalist and documentary filmmaker. At the age of 25, he co-directed the documentary This Year There Is No Harvest, about the lives of a group of street children during the height of Chile’s neoliberal boom in the year 2000. He went on to make several documentary pieces and worked as a director on memorable cultural TV programs from the late 1990s and early 2000s: Revolver, Cine-Video, El Show de los Libros, El Mirador, and Piel de Jaguar for TVN. He left TVN in 2006 to found Estudio Prende, his own production company, where he has directed short films, advertising campaigns, and TV series. He directed the official documentary of the Pan American and Parapan American Games Santiago 2023, and has just completed and released Magical Map of Chile.
Producer
Jean Paul Olhaberry is an illusionist, researcher, and audiovisual storyteller. Internationally known as the «Magician of the End of the World», he has brought his stage art and spiritual quest to more than 30 countries. In Magical Map of Chile, he serves as host and producer, guiding a documentary journey that weaves together mystery, heritage, and nature, with a profound, sensitive, and contemporary perspective.
