Synopsis

Roberto, a young Cuban actor, wanders the streets of Havana hallucinating about being part of the cast a Netflix series. His uncle, who the “best bookseller in the world”, advises him through the héroes of the homeland. The murder of the producer, a counterrevolutionary proposal, and conversations where Chile’s arteries are glimpsed, could be the great illusion for all the characters.

  His project titled «Los Iluminados» was premiered at FICValdivia (2015) and won Best Feature Film Festival Cine//B_8 (2016). He is currently developing «La Gran Ilusión» (Chile 2026). And he is finishing «Viajero Inmóvil» (Chile 2025), awarded at Cannes Docs (2024) and FICValdivia (2024) as the best Chilean film of the future.

  Studied History at the UdeC and Film at the Universidad Mayor. He was general producer for Sebastián Moreno and Ricardo Larraín. Producer of “Raíz” by Matías Rojas, “Best Chilean Film” at FICValdivia 2013 and premiered at the San Sebastian Film Festival. He is co-producer of the series “La Cacería”, directed by Juan Ignacio Sabatini.
