Synopsis

In 1977, the body of Aldo Marín (24) was blown to pieces when he tried to detonate a bomb in Turin. The mistake put an end to a lonely path to overthrow the Pinochet dictatorship. Through snippets of the life of an anonymous young man who chose his own road map, we reflect on conviction and deception, power and the ethics of violence.

  Chilean filmmaker. Producer of the non-fiction series ‘Kulmapu’ and ‘Por la Razón y la Ciencia’, broadcast on CNNChile. He was Junior Executive Producer at Invercine & Wood and participated in the production of the series ‘Dignidad’ (2019) and ‘Noticia de un Secuestro’ (2022). He also produced the award-winning short film ‘Hombre’ by Juan Pablo Arias Muñoz, which was screened at over 30 festivals worldwide. He was the producer of the documentary ‘Operación Chile: Top Secret’ (2023), released in the context of the 50th anniversary of the coup in Chile. Recently, he produced the feature documentary ‘I Must Away’ (2023), directed by Dennis Harvey, a co-production between Sweden, Ireland, and Chile, which premiered at the Göteborg Film Festival.
