Synopsis

Through archives, recreations and interviews, "Madres de Octubre" portrays the life of Mery Cortez (50), an Ecuadorian migrant in Chile, who, mobilised by her mother's love for her son, mbarks on a relentless struggle against the military who took the life of her first-born son, Romario
Veloz, the first person killed in the social upburst of 2019, beginning an unexpected journey from pain and anonymity to the front line of battle.
