Synopsis

Ingrid, a 40-year-old actress and filmmaker, is diagnosed with early menopause and, faced with the impossibility of becoming a mother, embarks on an audiovisual exploration through family memories, fiction, and real bodies to redefine her desire, identity, and legacy.

  Ingrid Isensee is an actress, director, and producer for film, theater, and TV. Founder of Perla Estudio, she has directed short films like El Puente and is currently working on her feature debut Cat Lady. She has acted in films such as Phantom Project, Young & Wild and Voice Over. She also works in theater, series, and VoiceOver.

  Producer

  Cynthia García Calvo is a Chilean producer and programmer. Founder of CYAN, she produced Medea (Bafici, San Sebastián), Delirio, and Una sola primavera. She’s currently in post-production on Soltera con gato and El derecho bajo el sol. Her work spans film, TV, and music videos.

  Producer

  Nacido en Santiago (1982), es cineasta y fundador de PLANTA. Produjo Los Colonos (Cannes 2023), La Práctica (San Sebastián 2023), Vida de Familia (Sundance 2017) y Las Analfabetas (Venecia 2013). Ex Quijote Films, hoy lidera PLANTA y es productor ejecutivo de FIDOCS.

2017: Awarded by the Chilean Audiovisual Development Fund (documentary scriptwriting category), receiving mentorship from Pamela Pequeño and Maite Alberdi.
2018: Winner of the Tribeca Film Institute Latin American Fund.
2019: Second place on the waiting list for the Chilean Audiovisual Development Fund (feature-length documentary production category).
2018:
Participated in ARCA Artistic Residency, mentored by Bettina Perut and Iván Osnovikoff.
Took part in FEMCINE Project Development Workshop, led by Walter Tiepelmann and Mario Durrieu.
