Since 2010, CCDoc looks to promote Chilean documentary, its marketing, distribution and internationalization of its films and series; along with stimulating the exploration of markets, coordinate Chilean producer delegations abroad and bring relevant industry actors to the country in order to create networks, new alliances, and business opportunities. It focuses its work on six lines of action: training, networks, promotion, distribution, research, and partnership. Its main initiatives are the sector brand Chiledoc, the market meeting Conecta and the distribution program Miradoc.

With the objective of opening in Chile a market meeting focused on nonfiction, we created Conecta, an international industry meeting that brings together Latin American producers with distributors, exhibitors, sales agents, programmers, channel representatives, festivals, markets, and funds, domestic and foreign. With Conecta we seek to strengthen the connections between the documentary community in Latin America and empower Chile as a window display to the continent’s production.
