Founded in 2019, La Madre is an audiovisual production company composed of women, mothers, and sexual dissidents. Its mission is to bring visibility to stories and conflicts from underrepresented realities, contributing to their recognition and appreciation in order to foster a more just, empathetic, and inclusive society.

We seek to establish connections with different agents in the audiovisual industry to identify potential co-producing partners in other countries—both for the development and production of our own content and that of third parties aligned with our editorial line. We aim to diversify our funding channels and promote our portfolio among programmers and sales agents.
La Madre is an audiovisual production company and service provider that develops, produces, and co-produces documentary projects from Chile. From south to north, we produce ideas and documentaries and accompany cultural projects with a focus on women, childhoods, and sexual dissidences. We have a broad support network throughout the country, which allows us to offer production and logistical services to national and international productions, strengthening collaborative and territory-based creation.
