Synopsis

At 33, a filmmaker delves into her neighbor’s path toward becoming a foster mother, a process that prompts her to confront her own feelings about motherhood. When she unexpectedly becomes pregnant, the film transforms into a deeply personal exploration set in a country where abortion remains illegal.

    Image and Sound Designer from UBA, Argentina; Master’s in Visual Arts from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She made “City Plaza Hotel” (France, 14’, 2019), Premiered at Berlinale; “Siluetas de Agua” (Chile, 30’, 2020), Premiered at Dok.Leipzig; and “Ajawaska, fragments of a journey to the heights” (Argentina, 65’, 2013), Premiered at the Mar del Plata International Film Festival. She has created video installations such as “Sin Panteon” (France, 2014/15) and “Re.Incorporar” (Chile, 2018).
