The production company Machete was born as a collective of experienced audiovisual and content generators in search of a space for the free realization of the creative exercise. In its first application to national financing funds (CORFO), the production company Machete won with its project Trauco; a fiction series with supernatural overtones, made audiovisually on the island of Chiloé with a cast of actors and technicians of the highest level. Machete Film & Content also has a vein of production and advertising production with which it has had the opportunity to form working alliances both in government entities; creating ministerial campaigns with the participation of outstanding talents such as Michael Schumacher, to the positioning of our director by winning gold at the World Independent Advertising Awards 2017 (WINA).

Machete in its commitment to communicate has developed the generation and audiovisual execution of various campaigns with recognized foundations such as Chile + Hoy, Fundación Vivienda, Cedena Puerto Williams, Alerce 3. 000 and Keep a Breast among others, along with a powerful portfolio of work with brands such as BNP Paribas Cardif, Siemens, Cencosud, Peugeot, Belcorp, Pizza Hut, CCU, adding to this the execution of registration work in major events such as Lollapalooza Chile and the SPGT Cup, or the projection and power of artistic figures in television formats such as Di Mondo. He currently produces a content channel for the Twitch.tv and Youtube platform called GumoTv, about online gaming.

Trauco.

Storyline:
Eduardo a pragmatic detective, is transfered to Chiloe with his wife, fleeing from a traumatic experience. In the island Eduardo gets obsessed with the crime of a young backpacker, who’s missing and the macab murder of her boyfriend. The communiy believes that the responsable of the crime is Trauco, a mythological creature of Chiloe. Being stuck in the middle of an alleged supernatural reality and he’s own paranoia, Eduardo discovers that the real murderes are the people who welcomed him with open arms; the members of a religious cult who will do everything in their power so the truth don’t come out.
