Synopsis

This film observes the permanent work of Antonio Kadima (73), who since 1977 has kept the Tallersol cultural center alive, the last countercultural stronghold of the dictatorship, and where he archives and safeguards thousands of posters of graphic protest and defense of human rights produced in the country, between 1973 and 1990. A social outbreak and a pandemic bring new difficulties, raising ethical questions about how to protect the archive and its memory.

  Director and Producer

  Producer, filmmaker, editor and photographer from Santiago (Chile, 1983) and co-founder of Viraje Films. In his filmography, the production, screenplay, co-direction, cinematography and editing of his debut film «Kadima, El tiempo contenido» (2022) which had its world premiere in Mexico DOCSMX, passed through DOCA (Argentina, 2023), stand out. Chilean premiere in SANFIC (2023) and commercial distribution in Chile by RED DE SALAS (2023-2024). He is the producer and director of the fiction short film «Laura» (FECICH Industry 2022 and Lebu International Film Festival, Industry 2022); Producer and director of the short film documentary “ABRAN PASO” (FIDOCS 2019, “Archivos en proceso” section, Red Festivales de Cine de Chile y Pueblos Indígenas REDFECI, Ventana Territorios Alterados) and participation in the World Cinema Amsterdam, Foco Chile, San Rafael in Short (Canary Islands), International Filmmaker Festival of New York, La Sur Real Film Festival (Berlin). He is currently editing the latest documentary by Honduran director Katia Lara and developing new projects.

  Filmmaker, audiovisual producer and musician from Santiago, (Chile, 1983). He was part of the band Midiset. His technical training as an audiovisual communicator is later complemented with a degree in documentary filmmaking at the UAHC. In 2017, he met Álvaro Gauna and they worked together on “Archivos de Memorias y Resistencias”, a work that constitutes the first investigation of “Kadima, el tiempo contenido”. Among his FILMOGRAPHY, the production, co-direction and direct sound of the documentary feature film and debut film “Kadima, el tiempo continuo” (2022); Director and editor at «Archivos de Memorias y Resistencias, Tallersol» FECISO XXI, 2018.

  Born in Santiago, Chile in 1986, she is a Fine Arts scholar, Master of Arts and diploma in filmmaking, with experience in Cultural Management, Production, Executive Production, Design, Photography and Audiovisual Production.
  In her filmography as producer and executive producer is the documentary feature “Kadima, El tiempo contenido” (2022), which had its world premiere in Mexico DOCSMX, passed through DOCA (Argentina, 2023), Chilean premiere at SANFIC (2023) and distribution commercial in Chile by the RED DE SALAS (2023-2024); Producer, Art Director and Executive Producer in “Laura”, a fiction short film (FECICH Industry 2022 and Lebu International Film Festival, Industry 2022); Executive producer of the short documentary “ABRAN PASO”, with screenings at different national and international festivals.
  Audiovisual producer in the textile art collective #capuchasrojasenresistencia from 2019 to 2021, media documentary project Cuerpo y Territorio (cinema from the edge 2022).
