  Director

  Ferrán Vergara studied philosophy, industrial maintenance and later dedicated himself to cinema. In 2020, he founded Cagliostro Cinema, a production company specializing in film essays, recycled archive material and unconventional documentary approaches. His short films and documentary projects have been presented at various festivals and markets in Latin America. Currently, he is working on his first feature film.

  Manríquez

  Producer

  Dafne Manríquez is a Film and Television student at the University of Chile, and since 2022 she has been working as production manager at Cagliostro Cinema, an emerging Chilean production company. She has produced short films for the University of Chile school. Since 2023, she has been producing the feature-length documentary “Jack Mackerel Salmon Style”, which won the “Pampa 2030” award within the framework of Sanfic Industry.

• Bastián

  González

  Producer

  Bastián González is a film director and producer at Cagliostro Cinema, an emerging Chilean company. He also has an engineering degree in project management. In 2022 he produces the project “Bagatelas” (dir. Ferrán Vergara), selected at DocMontevideo meetings. In 2023, his debut project “A habit greater than the metropolis” was on the shortlist of Hubert Bals Fund Development. In 2023 he also produced the feature-length documentary “Jack Mackerel Salmon Style”, which won the “Pampa 2030” award within the framework of Sanfic Industria. He produces the project “Sol Negro” selected in Cines en el borde 2024. He has a marked interest in developing films with authorial proposals and themes related to the environment.
