    Director

    Director, producer, screenwriter, writer and sociologist. He has directed the feature films Villa Olímpica and Buscando a Panzeri, the medium-length films Intimate Models and Never Back, and the series Un Gol al Arcoíris and Muerte sin fin. Journalistic director in the Biography of Hugo Sánchez of NAT GEO, and producer of Ojos Rojos and Adictos al Claxon. His latest production, Villa Olímpica, was chosen as the Best Film at SANFIC 2022. He has been a jury member at festivals such as DocsMX and FestCine Guayaquil. He has published several books of essays and writes chronicles for various media such as The Clinic, Gatopardo and Revista de la UNAM.

    He is a film and television director and producer with a degree in Arts from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He has also completed studies at the prestigious Séptima Ars Film and TV School in Madrid.

    He made his debut as a director and producer with the documentary «Ojos Rojos» (2010), a film that explores the relationship between soccer and defeat in Chilean society. To date, it remains the highest-grossing documentary in the history of Chilean cinema.

    In 2021, he premiered the non-fiction series «Freed» in Chile, which portrays the experiences of inmates and their process of reintegration into society after obtaining their freedom. This series, winner of the CNTV fund and the 2021 journalism of excellence award, has received an excellent reception from both the public and critics, being acquired by Prime Video.
